Integrate Popin with Freshsales to seamlessly sync leads, call activities, and customer interactions across both platforms. This guide walks you through the step-by-step process required to set up and activate the integration.


📘 Introduction

The Popin–Freshsales integration allows for automated lead creation and activity logging in Freshsales whenever customers interact with the Popin widget (e.g., video calls, scheduled calls, missed calls). This reduces manual data entry and ensures your CRM always stays up to date.


✅ Prerequisites

Before beginning, make sure you have:

  • An active Popin account.

  • An active Freshsales account with API access.

  • Admin-level access to both Popin and Freshsales dashboards.


🔧 Steps to Integrate Popin with Freshsales

Step 1: Get Freshsales API Credentials

  1. Log in to your Freshsales account.

  2. Navigate to: Settings > Apps & Integrations > API Settings

  3. Locate and copy the following:

    • Subdomain (e.g., if your Freshsales URL is https://yourcompany.freshsales.io, then yourcompany is your subdomain)

    • API Key

  4. Save these credentials securely. They will be used in the Popin integration process.


Step 2: Configure Freshsales in the Popin Dashboard

  1. Log in to your Popin Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to: Developer > Freshsales

  3. Enter the Subdomain and API Key you copied from Freshsales.

  4. Click Save to complete the configuration.

Once saved, Popin will begin sending lead and activity data to your Freshsales CRM.

  • After integration, customer interactions such as:

    • Captured leads

    • Scheduled calls

    • Missed calls

    • Call remarks and ratings will automatically appear in Freshsales as leads or activities.
